Hello RDDI Families,
As the dance season is rapidly coming to an end there are a few very important things to address, so please take a couple of minutes to read below.
April’s Student of the Month
Congratulations Veya!!!! Veya has worked so hard this year at learning the principals of ballet. She always comes to class with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Veya applies her corrections and is not afraid to shine. She works well with others and is always supportive to her fellow dancers. In just a short time her posture, focus and strength has improved. I am so proud to see how far she has come. Congratulations and keep up the great work!!! ~ Ms. Adrianna
Promo of the Month
May’s promo of the month is Pre- Register for the 2023/2024 dance season, save the $30 registration fee and receive a FREE gift. Attached is a tentative schedule. Please know things may change depending on enrollment, but we will try our best to stick to the schedule, for we know you are also planning other activities for your children. All class maximums will be enforced (8-10 dancers depending on the age group) and registration will open to the public as of July 1, 2023, so join us for our 10th season save your spots TODAY!
RDDI Company
We would like to wish our Company dancers the best of luck this upcoming weekend, for they will be attending their first competition of the season. We are so proud of all their hard work and can’t wait to see them shine on stage. GOOD LUCK DANCERS!
STUDIO CLOSED: Victoria Day Weekend
The studio will be closed Saturday May 20th, 2023 to Monday May 22nd, 2023 for the Victoria Day weekend. Classes will resume on Tuesday May 23rd, 2023. A makeup schedule for all classes has been sent, and for some those classes begin this week.
Year End Showcase
Our 9th annual year end showcase will be on Sunday June 18th, 2023. As mentioned in previous emails we will only have one show, 2pm but all recreational dancers will have a quick stage rehearsal at 12:30pm. Recital tickets, as well as DVD orders, will be available to order as of June 1st, 2023 and more information will be provided in the June Newsletter. Lastly, since recital is on father’s day we will be having a special raffle for all fathers in attendance to show our gratitude for spending the afternoon supporting our dancers.
Photo Day- Monday June 19th, 2023
Thank you to everyone that has handed in their release and order forms, for today is the last day to place an order. We will be working on a schedule based on the orders we have received, therefore if you have not handed in an order form you/your child will only participate in group photos. We are still missing the following release forms:

If you will not be attending, please let us know so we can remove you from our list. A Photo Day schedule will be provided in the next week and we would appreciate if everyone can arrive 15 minutes before your shoot time.
Parent/Child Dance- need to fill 2 spots
We still need to fill 2 spots for the parent child dance to run this season, so if you are interested and have not yet signed up, please do so by Friday, so I can confirm if this will run.
