March’s Student of the Month
Congratulations Michelle!!!! Michelle joined our adult classes in January and her dedication and determination to pick up choreography that her classmates learned back in October, amazed me. She not only picked up the choreography but continues to improve weekly and that passion and commitment is something that has not only inspired me, but also the other dancers. You should be so proud of all that you have accomplished and I look forward to continuing to be a part of your dance journey. Congratulations Michelle and keep up the amazing work!!!! ~Ms. Daniela
Promo of the Month
April’s promo of the month will be 15% off birthday parties. It has been a while since we have been able to offer dance parties and look forward to the opportunity to do so once again. Please contact the office for more info.
Additional Costume Fees
As we have now received all our costumes there will be an additional $25 per costumes fee due for each dancer, due to the increase in custom fees. If your child has more than 4 costumes these fees can be divided by 3 (April, May, June) but like always all accounts must be paid in full in order to purchase recital tickets. If you have credits in your accounts, we can apply them to these fees, and if you are unsure of what you owe, please email the office and Ms. Angie will confirm.
Easter Weekend- STUDIO CLOSED
The studio will be closed for Easter Weekend, Saturday April 8th to Monday April 10th, 2023, and classes will resume on Tuesday April 11th, 2023.
Calling all PARENTS
We would like to once again have a parent/child dance but will need at least 10 families in order for this to run. Rehearsals will run Saturday May 27th from 12pm to 1:30pm, Saturday June 10th from 11:30am to 12:30pm and Saturday June 17th from 11:30am to 1pm. The cost will be $50 per family and due to spacing there will be a maximum of 15 families, which will be first come first dance.
Photo Day- Monday June 19, 2023
Our 9th annual photo day will take place on Monday June 19, 2023 from 4pm to 10pm. Attached is an order form that is due by Monday May 1st, 2023, but payments will not be due until June. All dancers participating in Photo Day will need to hand in a release form, even if you are only joining us for the group photos. Like always, only the dancers that purchase a package will be taking individual photos, but we ask that all dancers join us for the group photos, so we can have a memory of their time with us, on the canvas' we create for our wall. A schedule will be created and sent in the May newsletter, so please email with any questions or concerns before then.
Year End Showcase- Sunday June 18th, 2023
Our 9th annual year end showcase will be on Sunday June 18th, 2023 at Eastdale Colligate on Harmony Rd. The show will begin at 2pm but all recreational dancers will need to arrive at 12:30pm for a quick stage rehearsal. Due to the unexpected expense of the theatre, we will only have one show this season but since this beautiful theatre seats 400+ there will be no limit on how many people you can invite. Like every year the dancers will not need to purchase a ticket and will be able to watch once they are done dancing. We encourage everyone to stay until the end of the show, so all dancers can join us for a final dance party of the 2022-2023 season and for a chance to win a variety of raffle prizes that are included with every ticket purchased.
