Hello RDDI Dancers,
Thank you for a great start to our 10th season! To all of the dancers that participated in September’s Promo of the Month, we hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and that you will all join us again in January for another month of unlimited classes. Please take a few minutes to read below.
2020/2021 Schedule
Attached is a revised and final schedule for the season, with the exception of ballet private lessons that were changed to accommodate our substitute teachers. Once Ms. Adrianna returns in November your classes will go back to the regular schedule. If you/your child is currently not registered for a class, please email to save your spot ASAP, for 10 dancer maximums are in affect.
Student of the Month
September’s Student of the Month is Elizabeth!!!! Elizabeth has shown such great improvement since classes began in September! She comes to class prepared with her hair in a bun, and is focussed and eager to learn. During brief class discussions about how an exercise feels, Elizabeth provides great insight and shows a deep understanding of what her body is doing and feeling. She is always willing to share her thoughts with the class. Elizabeth is very determined! She applies corrections and has built up her overall strength! I am so impressed by her work ethic and perseverance! Congratulations and keep up the great work!!!~Ms. Maria
Each year our student of the month winners receive a free RDDI T-shirt, a professional complimentary photo, a photo with the teacher who selected them, and a $10 gift card of their choice. Since we are celebrating our 10th season this year, we will be offering all of the same gifts but are doubling the gift card of your choice to $20.
Promo of the Month
October’s promo of the month is 10% off RDDI apparel. Anything in stock can be taken the day of your purchase and everything else will be ordered and delivered before the winter break, just in time for Holiday gifts. We have our performance T-Shirts, fitted adult hoodies, and regular hoodies and sweat pants, as well as I am waiting to hear about yoga jackets.
NOTE: There were some hoodies that were printed without the RDDI logo on the back and the printer will be fixing this error. If you have a hoodie that does not have our full logo on the back and would like to have it printed correctly, please bring it in labeled with your name before Monday October 30th, 2023.
Uniform and Code of Conduct
Since it is now October, all dancers must be in full uniform for each and every one of their classes. Attached is the RDDI uniform and our Code of Conduct, which must be signed and returned to the office by Thursday October 5th 2023, if you haven't already done so.
Thanksgiving Weekend- CLOSED
We will be closed Saturday October 7th to Monday October 9th, 2023 for Thanksgiving weekend and classes will resume on Tuesday October 10, 2023. We will also be closed Tuesday October 31st, 2023 for Halloween.
Halloween Costume Contest
We will be celebrating Halloween from Tuesday October 24th to Monday October 30th, 2023. Throughout the week each faculty member will pick their favourite costume and on Tuesday October 31st, 2023 the winners will be announced on our Social Media accounts, @rhythmdynamicsdanceinc. The students selected will win a prize, so we encourage all dancers to participate in the fun and dress up for all classes.
Tuition
This is a friendly reminder that tuition is due on the 1st of each month, and each day it is late a $2 per day fee is added to your account. If for some reason you are unable to make payment on the 1st, please inform the office in advance to avoid late fees. We don’t accept credit cards, only cash, cheques or e-transfers.
Gratitude Posts on Social Media
Five seasons ago we started gratitude posts for the month of October and we will be continuing with this, for we feel it is important to share our gratitude. For the entire month we will be posting videos of our RDDI families telling us what they are thankful for. If you or your child is interested, we would love to hear from as many RDDI families as possible, so think of something you would like to share and let us know before or after class.
